GOAL:
Branding for bakery's four lines of business: wedding cakes, chocolate, pastries, and retail cafe.
Audience:
Attract new, young customers in gentrifying neighborhood, without alienating historically loyal customers over 45 years of cafe's existence in neighborhood.
Approach:
Contemporary photography and typography brings brand up to date. Maintaining 45-year logo mark to ensures continuity with historic customers. Each line of business is distinguished through unique color schemes, while font treatment and layout unite them.
